Full dialogue with my guides was always the
ultimate goal for me. I wanted clear, concise communication that left no room
for mistakes. Many of the development exercises I have covered are precursors
to this goal. This particular technique, while not full dialogue, is another
step on that path. It lets you receive simple yes and no answers from your
guides to precisely phrased questions. It will work well in advance of full
dialogue and teaches you to focus properly on the questions you ask them.
To begin with review and practice the steps in
my article How to Feel The Presence of Your Guides.
While that is best done in a group you can do it on your own. For the purpose
of this exercise it is best to be on your own as this will remove any time
pressure you may feel.
With your questions prepared bring in your
guides following the steps you practiced. When you are comfortable that they
are present ask your guides to give you an obvious feeling that indicates a
positive response from them. Take time to notice a change of feeling in your
body. It can be different for everybody but is always distinctive enough for
you to spot. For example, I feel a positive response as a coolness that sweeps
down my spine. When I first noticed this it was a lot more subtle than it is
now but still discernable.
You are trying to spot something that is subtle
until you know what you are looking for. To help yourself, ask your guides to
remove the feeling, then wait twenty seconds and ask them to give it to you
again. Keep doing this until you spot the signal. When you are comfortable
with detecting the signal begin asking your first question and wait for a
positive response. If you get one, the answer is 'Yes', if you don't, the
answer is 'No'. It is up to you to phrase the question so it can be answered
like this. With practice it will be so obvious you can ask a silent question
in a crowded room and be sure of their response.
If you find yourself getting nowhere take a
break and come back to it. Always make sure you can feel your guides before
proceeding as that is the only time the signal will be clear and not tampered
with.
